QoR Ultramarine Turquoise combines the granulation of purple-leaning Ultramarine Blue with the vibrant transparency of Phthalo Green Blue Shade. This contrast between cool translucent green and warm granulating blue creates beautiful separation when working wet-in-wet – highlighting the unique personalities of these two pigments. Washes provide a cool clear turquoise dappled with warmer blue.

While QoR Ultramarine Turquoise and QoR Phthalo Turquoise share a color space, they offer artists very different possibilities. Two phthalo pigments work together to create a powerful transparent cool blue-green in Phthalo Turquoise, but the Phthalo-Ultramarine combination has a dual personality for artists to explore.
