Golden Artist Colors Announces Internal Promotion for New Marketing Director

Golden Artist Colors announces the promotion of Dana Rice to Director of Marketing. Rice, who formerly served as the company's Brand Manager for both the GOLDEN and Williamsburg Handmade Oils brands, has been with the company since 2004. In her new role, Rice will be responsible for managing the company's brands and global strategic marketing initiatives.

As Director of Marketing, she will be instrumental in supporting the company's connection to the arts community and growing educational resources. Her enthusiasm, thought leadership experience and marketing expertise are critical to the continued success of the company.

Prior to joining GOLDEN, Rice gained experience at two leading computer software companies. As a Product Manager at Unisys, she provided value-added support and oversaw software products designed to meet the needs of the newspaper market. While there, she helped to provide a robust end-to-end software solution for publishing pre-press operations. She was also responsible for advocating product and product direction to prospective customers through presentation, meetings and tradeshows, as well as working closely with the engineering group to determine appropriate technologies for new development.

Rice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Minnesota. She currently resides with her husband, Ray Ouellet, in Hartwick, N.Y.
