Golden Artist Colors announces the promotion of longtime employee, Bill Berthel, to Human Resources Manager. In this newly appointed position, Berthel will manage the support of the talent within the organization, including overseeing administration of hiring, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, and long-term staffing strategies.
Responsibilities include development and administration of personnel policies and practices, pay and job classification structure, programs for employee training and development, and employee involvement (teams, events, surveys). He will also lead the company's Corporate Wellness Program.

Always interested in expanding his knowledge and contributing to the organization in a larger way, Berthel has been committed to furthering his education and skills set in order to assist in the strategic development and growth of GOLDEN, a company he describes as, "an organization that values integrity, dedication and commitment to its employees, customers and communities in which we live and work."
Barbara Schindler, President and COO of Golden Artist Colors, shared, "We are very excited to have Bill in this new role. The personal growth we've seen in him over the years has been tremendous. An exemplary role model for his colleagues, he's worked very hard to further his education and industry knowledge in order to progress through the company. We're thrilled to see him succeed; it's very rewarding."
Berthel is currently enrolled at Capella University, working toward the completion of his Psychology and HR Management degree. He currently resides in Bainbridge, N.Y., with his wife and son.
