GOLDEN Hires New Process Engineer & Production Supervisor

Jack T. Roque recently joined the Operations Department at Golden Artist Colors, Inc. as its new Process Engineer & Production Supervisor. Roque is responsible for improving process understanding through considered application of statistical tools and methods. He aspires to enable GOLDEN to make superior business decisions on the basis of data and statistical analysis. In the process, Roque expects to guide the Operations Department in an operational transformation yielding a high performance and customer-oriented culture and environment.
Prior to joining GOLDEN, Roque gained a tremendous amount of experience at Owens Corning and Corning. At Owens Corning, he was a Leadership Specialist, working primarily as a Process Engineer applying variation-reducing techniques to the asphalt shingle manufacturing process. While at Corning, Roque was a Materials Management Analyst, developing new ways to examine organization-wide procurement data and applied such learning to ongoing operations and new commercial ventures.
Roque received his bachelor of science degree in Chemistry from Binghamton University and his master of science degree from Seton Hall University. Shortly thereafter, he received his master in business administration degree from Pennsylvania State University with a focus in Supply Chain Management.

Roque currently resides in Johnson City, N.Y., with his wife, Jennifer, and his 11 month-old son, Julian.
