Golden Artist Colors Grows Its Material & Applications Specialist Team Internationally

Golden Artist Colors is pleased to announce the growth of its company internationally with the recent hire of Mirjam Hintz as its new Material Application Specialist for the EU market, based in Frankfurt, Germany.  The company’s Material Application Specialists consult directly with artists at no charge to answer their questions and assist with product and application challenges.  This service has allowed GOLDEN to develop an industry leading capability in customer support.

Starting February 1, Hintz, an artist and paintings conservator with extensive training in GOLDEN products and technical recommendations, will be handling phone calls and email responses in both German and English languages during normal German business hours (9:00 – 17:00).  Until now, this service was offered out of the GOLDEN factory and headquarters in Central New York, limiting access to US business hours and English language conversant callers. 

Now international customers can get their questions answered by Hintz in one of three ways:

• Calling the dedicated phone line at their own expense (0049 – 69 – 348 – 72154)
• Leaving a call back number via a form on the website (no charge)
• Sending an email to [email protected]

Hintz completed her undergraduate work in conservation at the London Metropolitan University where she earned a BS in Conservation and Restoration of Decorative Wooden Objects. Her graduate work was at the University of Amsterdam where she received a MA in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, in the paintings specialization, with a focus on old master paintings.  After that Hintz received two years of post-graduate training in Paintings Conservation from the University of Amsterdam, with a focus on modern and contemporary paintings.  In addition, Hintz has spent the majority of 2018 at the GOLDEN factory, where she completed rigorous training on all GOLDEN product lines and also participated in ongoing product research.
