Product Description
GOLDEN Archival Varnish with UVLS is a flexible, easy-to-use spray varnish made with a solvent-based, reversible, 100% acrylic co-polymer resin designed for fine art applications. It creates a durable, even film that provides protection while maintaining the integrity of the original artwork.

Application
- Temperature must be above 50°F, ideally 65-75°F
- Shake can thoroughly for 2 minutes before use
- Hold can 9-12 inches from surface at 90° angle
- Apply in light, even coats using sweeping motion
- Allow 1 hour drying between coats
- Rotate direction between coats for even coverage
- Build up layers gradually for desired finish
- Ensure workspace is well-ventilated
- Always test before application
- Most fine art applications require 1-2 coats, for optimal UV protection, apply minimum 6 coats
Storage
Store in a cool/dry location at temperatures ideally between 65-75°F. Avoid freezing and keep can away from direct sunlight and heat sources for extended periods.
Clean up
Clean equipment immediately after use. Flush spray nozzle after use by spraying upside down for 5-8 seconds. For clogged nozzles use pure mineral spirits or MSA Solvent. Never insert pins or sharp objects into nozzle. Dispose of empty cans according to local regulations.
Handling and Transportation
Allow several days curing time before packing or transporting artwork. Avoid any contact with the surface of a varnished piece and never stack varnished artwork.
