GOLDEN Silverpoint / Drawing Ground Recall

Dear Artist:

Due to product shelf-life stability issues, we have decided to recall select batches of Silverpoint / Drawing Ground (Item #3558) product.
Through research and testing it has been discovered that pigment settling to the bottom in a hard, cake-like mass, which cannot readily be re-stirred, has resulted in non-usable product. The resultant product has a loss of tooth and opacity of the ground. Changing our processes, with refinements in place, assures no future batches should be affected.

If you are experiencing this issue, please contact GOLDEN Customer Service. You will need to provide them with the batch code on the container. The batch code can be found either on the bottom of the product, or below the bar code on the label. Once we’re able to validate the batch code, we will send you replacement product at no cost. 

The recalled product should be poured onto absorbent material, allowed to dry and disposed of with regular trash or dropped off at a paint recovery facility.
