Golden Artist Colors announces the recent promotion of Jeff Conklin and hire of Stephanie Wysluzaly to its Marketing and Sales teams.  Conklin joins the Marketing team as Junior Brand Manager for Williamsburg Handmade Oils and will also act as Tradeshow Coordinator.  Wysluzaly is the new Sales Administrator for the internal Sales team at GOLDEN.

Conklin, who is not so new to the company, has worked in various roles over the past 18 years.  He joined the company in 1997 working in the Shipping department and eventually moved to the Quality Assurance Technician role in the Lab, which he has fulfilled for the past 14 years. Interested in expanding his knowledge and skills, he is currently pursuing his MBA in Project Management through Capella University.

In his role as Junior Brand Manager for Williamsburg, he will be bridging Marketing with the Technical and Operations Departments internally. Externally focused, he will bring product to the sales team, trade partners and the artist community. He will be responsible for executing a product marketing strategy, including developing, coordinating and driving market research, sales implementation, advertising, educational outreach, and social media.

Dana Rice, Marketing Director of Golden Artist Colors, shared, “As a company, we are committed to providing staff with opportunities for personal growth, so we’re excited to welcome Jeff to the Marketing team.  From his work in our Lab, he has gained a vast knowledge about Williamsburg materials that will be critical to the continued success of the brand.”

New Sales Administrator Stephanie Wysluzaly is a graduate of Elmira College where she earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in Ceramics and Painting.  She comes to GOLDEN from a medical device manufacturer, where she served for six years as a Corporate Contract Administrator.  In that role, she developed a keen and comprehensive skill set for data analysis by use of complex Excel functions and Access database query activities.  Having this skill set in her role as Sales Administrator will provide the company a much deeper capacity to proactively monitor, communicate, and address both positive and negative trends within customer classifications and product families.

Critical responsibilities in this new role include sales reporting, key account demand planning, retail support optimization, and store audits / marketplace administration.

“We’re delighted to welcome Stephanie to GOLDEN,” said Sales Director, Bill Hartman.  “Based on her experience and skills, we’re confident she will bring a tighter focus to customer relationship quality, enhancing the value we provide to our customers.”

Conklin currently resides in Edmeston, N.Y., with his wife and children.  Wysluzaly lives in Utica, N.Y.
