GOLDEN Officially Opens its Gallery Doors

September 12, 2007

On July 12, 2007, Golden Artist Colors, Inc. officially opened its Gallery's doors. The inaugural show, "A Gathering of Friends," told the stories of some of the biggest names in art in the past 50 years. Artwork featured in the show included works by Larry Poons, Paul Jenkins, Dale Chihuly, Jules Olitski, and John Griefen, just to name a few. The artwork marked not only specific milestones in the company's history, but conversations between the artists and company founders Sam and Mark Golden throughout the past 27 years. According to Mark, "This gallery represents the closest connection we can bring here to our staff and our community of our relationship to some of the most amazing artists of our times. It is the chapel to our efforts. It is the place to remind us of the value of what we bring to the world: Beautiful colors in the assistance of incredible vision."

Free tours of the Gallery, along with the Golden Artist Colors, Inc. factory, can be arranged by contacting Jodi O'Dell at 607-847-6154.

Please note that the Gallery will be closed to the public until April 2, 2008, while we makes changes to the space.
