As Director of Operations, Glen oversees the entire production process—including Paintmaking, Filling, and Material Handling. Additionally, Glen also oversees Facilities, which includes Wastewater, Maintenance, and Housekeeping. His focus is on ensuring proper staffing and training levels for optimum functioning and implementing lean manufacturing strategies in order to get the best products to our customers as efficiently and quickly as possible. Chwala works in tandem with the Safety and Compliance Department on continuous improvement to ensure the safety and efficiency of all GOLDEN employees. Glen graduated from Clarkson University with a BS in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management.

When not working at GOLDEN, Glen can be found hard at work on his latest DIY project, whether around his family’s home in Manlius or roaming the hardware store trying to figure out how to incorporate his newest tool in the next project.
